Our Valentia staff makes every effort to enforce this policy. Addressing your concerns with security, our overnight courtesy patrol is on site nightly, seven days a week. They patrol the entire premises, so you may not see them in the same place at a given time on day to day basis. I'm pretty surprised to see people giving 1-stars. This place has its weaknesses, but I definitely don't think it's merits being lowballed like that. They need to get rid of this. If you want to use the gym be warned it is often overrun by some random man who holds classes in the gym for his clients.

I have talked to people in the leasing office about this and was told they would take car of it yet I have seen him multiple times since. It is frustrating that as a resident I cannot use certain equipment because it is being used by this man to make a profit. They are not residents and I have seen them leaving. They also park in the parking lots without parking permits. Considering there is barely enough parking for residents that is pretty crappy.

There have been many occasions where my partner who works nights can not find a parking space in the evening meanwhile there are plenty of cars parked without permits. It obviously isn't regulated. The hot tub is currently broken and the jets will not turn on. The entire place smells strongly of air freshener and the gym is full of plug in air fresheners.

Some people have asthma or are concerned about their general health and don't want to be breathing those toxins in. If you are looking to live next to a construction site the old vons and want the noise and asphalt fumes that come along with that this is the place for you! Very expensive. Terrible staff and management.

It's no wonder so many people have already moved out. The gym is obviously nice and new like everything here but is always a mess with dirty towels laying around and things out of place. It's a very noisy location. Our dishwasher doesn't work.

The pool is supposedly heated but is freezing cold. The treadmill closest to the windows is broken and makes a terrible sound and hasn't been fixed. There is no parking available as mentioned in almost every other review. And apparently they just changed the printer so you have to pay to print. After all that I already pay to live here, it's just another way to be nickel and dimed.

The staff really could care less about residents as evident by Lauren's attitude. Obviously they have a poor yelp rating, I'm surprised it's not worse. At Valentia, we do try to ensure that anyone parking within the complex is a current resident of the community. This is the reason that an overnight permit is required for guests. Guest permits are easily acquired from the leasing office, or via our overnight courtesy patrol, should the office be closed.

I was able to listen to the phone conversation you had with one of the associates and you demanded and accused our current resident of keeping your package. I can understand that you sent it by accident to this address, however, our current resident confirmed that they did not received it or had it in their procession.

I would strongly recommend to contact the carrier to get answers of the whereabouts of your package. We are sorry to hear you do not agree with the assessment of your security deposit, but we are required to return any apartment to the condition that the resident took possession of it, the cost of which resides with that resident.

All charges are documented and itemized, and available to the former resident in order to ensure fairness. I have to walk for approximately 5 minutes to get to my home. Also, I was told that beyond the Valentia parking gates, only residents who have permits are qualified to park.

Which is quite unfair because residents who do not have permits hold that spot restricting the paying residents from parking and charging their car. I don't know why they can't assign parking spots for us so everyone can park near their home.

Like I mentioned I pay extra for parking and I would prefer to have a more comfortable parking experience. I have a very active job and I feel exhausted after work and I don't want to have to go round and around as if I'm looking for street parking in LA.. After reviewing our records about the water leak in the apartment, I did see that our maintenance team responded in a timely manner and you are correct even after contacting a plumber we were unable to determine the source of the leak because there was no leak in the apartment.

We did monitor the situation very closely and I was able to see that no additional water related problems occurred in the apartment. I know that the team informed you that we needed to install dehumidifiers to dry down the floors and all residents in the apartments agreed and were ok with the process. In regards to the fire alarms going off in the community, we took every step soon after this took place.

The office sent-out smoking reminders to the entire community and we also posted signs throughout the community to remind all residents of our non-smoking policy. As part of our tour, parking policies are always disclosed to all propspective residents and it is also part of our lease agreement. When you had decided to cancel your parking permit you were remined that parking is enforced and permit parking is required. At Valenia our main goal is to provide our propects and residents with the best service possible.

Always have cool events. The apartments are very spacious amenities are amazing. There are tons of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Resident will love living at Valentia! Overall, this place is fine. Lots of amenities. I use the gym quite a bit and having tons of BBQ options and dog parks is also nice. A late night hot tub trip is also nice. There's a club room you can rent that is very nice and a study room, bocceball court and lots of places to lounge around and relax.

Cons: There's actually one big one, in my opinion. It's crowded all the time with people coming and going. Most of the residents are young couples with lots of small children. Depending on where you live, the people can be distracting in your room as well. This place really didn't need four floors. Because of this, parking is a nightmare. The rent is pretty high as well, we pay a ton for a two bedroom.

Overall, it's a nice place to stay, but my wife and I are out of here as soon as the lease expires. Someplace quieter. Ericka is the best! She's so patience and such a well rounded person. I was in a difficult situation with renewing my lease and she went through so much to make it work for me. She helped me throughout the long process and because of her I was able to resolve my issues.

I understand that everyone has different needs, that is why I have given them a 3 star. In trying to help you decide if this place is for you, I have listed some pros and cons. I can say it is definitely not for me. Not a fan of the brown. You get ONE parking spot. Same fridge for all units. This is not a green option. The staff is amazing and friendly and the amenities are so worth it. I have a 2 year old so to have a safe and comfortable place was defiantly a plus.

My husband contacted their maintenance team and they responded and were unable to figure out where the water came from. They ended up contacting a plumber and they still could not determine where the water was coming from.

In the end my husband and I had to deal with the loud annoying dehumidifiers for three days without any apology from management staff. There were also fire alarms that would go off randomly due to residents smoking even though they stated their community is smoke free. Their staff is ridiculously rude and unprofessional. All they care about is renting out their overpriced apartments.

My husband and I lived here for a year and couldn't wait for our lease to be over. This is how they treat their residents by towing their cars.

You can't even have visitors without putting them at risk of their cars getting towed. They also had random dead cockroaches around the complex from time to time that would be there for a couple of days. Move in at your own risk. I'm living this place. I have talked to people in the leasing office about this and was told they would take car of it yet I have seen him multiple times since. It is frustrating that as a resident I cannot use certain equipment because it is being used by this man to make a profit. They are not residents and I have seen them leaving. They also park in the parking lots without parking permits. Considering there is barely enough parking for residents that is pretty crappy. There have been many occasions where my partner who works nights can not find a parking space in the evening meanwhile there are plenty of cars parked without permits.

It obviously isn't regulated. The hot tub is currently broken and the jets will not turn on. The entire place smells strongly of air freshener and the gym is full of plug in air fresheners. Some people have asthma or are concerned about their general health and don't want to be breathing those toxins in. If you are looking to live next to a construction site the old vons and want the noise and asphalt fumes that come along with that this is the place for you!

The people in their leasing office are rude and they don't care about their tenants. Our air conditioner went out in the beginning of summer and they quickly brought us some large air conditioning units one for each room. I took them over three weeks and noting. We had a friend to come in and fix it. That job was a 2 thousand dollar job and Valentia still couldn't give us a date to fix our air.

If you live in the back apartments, yours stairs and hallways do not get cleaned very often. One other weird thing, there used to a hospital and old run down apartment building and that place gave me the creeps.

Weird stuff always happened like our dog barking for nothing and walking to your kitchen would give you the creeps and more We complained many times, but never seen results. I wish I could post the Videos I have about this. For the price they charge, you will get a real value of your money somewhere else. Management is passive aggressive.

Dog shit always in flower bed and on ground. Infested with fly's entrance to your building from all the dog shit a pee in flower bed. Your animal will have to handle there business in flower bed.

No dog run. Ants on constance basis. Plus I agreed to and apartment that was promise to me only to get a different one at the last minute after preparing myself for move and deadline. Some tenants are stuck up and rude. My first day I had one flip me the finger.

As I was leaving the apartment office. Plus they tack on hidden fees after you made arrangements to move in. Your charged for garbage pick up for Building and water. Then they charge you for valet service that you don't want to pickup your trash at your front door. The manager of the place was very nice thats it. The lady that rented me the place would constantly stick her tits in my face to close the deal. Then don't speak to you after you move in and treat you like shit.

Residents wanted more weights and rubber mats in the gym - management bought them. Riff-raff started coming to the pool and left quite a mess - management made new rules about large parties of guests. I was generally impressed. Our entire deposit plus even more charges were taken after moving out.

We went in to talk to them and were still charged despite showing photos taken of the apartment when moving out. It was spotless and no damages yet they charged for cleaning, painting and carpet cleaning.

We were told before moving out that the apartment would be painted anyways so we didn't need to worry about the walls at all, yet of course we were charged for painting them. Obviously a brand new apartment isn't going to continue to look brand new after two years and them saying it wasn't returned in the exact same condition well no duh dipshits.

Expect to lose all of your deposit since they automatically take out for painting and carpet cleaning for all residents. Will attach a photo of the charges. Very crooked people working here. Don't love here you pay an arm and a leg for rent and you can't even have guests over. There's no parking. Not even our front you need a pass. How crazy is that to go through all that just to have your guest park. It's insane. Do yourself a favor and don't rent from this place.

I can't even find words to say about Jessica Moreno. She helped me stay in my apartment without needing to get transferred and spend the holidays at home. She went above and beyond to keep an eye out for what I needed and communicated with me even with it was off hours to make sure I always knew my options and helped me choose what's best and within my budget.

They need to get rid of this. If you want to use the gym be warned it is often overrun by some random man who holds classes in the gym for his clients.

I have talked to people in the leasing office about this and was told they would take car of it yet I have seen him multiple times since. It is frustrating that as a resident I cannot use certain equipment because it is being used by this man to make a profit. They are not residents and I have seen them leaving. They also park in the parking lots without parking permits.

Considering there is barely enough parking for residents that is pretty crappy. There have been many occasions where my partner who works nights can not find a parking space in the evening meanwhile there are plenty of cars parked without permits. It obviously isn't regulated. The hot tub is currently broken and the jets will not turn on. The entire place smells strongly of air freshener and the gym is full of plug in air fresheners. Some people have asthma or are concerned about their general health and don't want to be breathing those toxins in.

If you are looking to live next to a construction site the old vons and want the noise and asphalt fumes that come along with that this is the place for you! Very expensive.

Terrible staff and management. It's no wonder so many people have already moved out. The gym is obviously nice and new like everything here but is always a mess with dirty towels laying around and things out of place.

It's a very noisy location. Our dishwasher doesn't work. The pool is supposedly heated but is freezing cold. The treadmill closest to the windows is broken and makes a terrible sound and hasn't been fixed. There is no parking available as mentioned in almost every other review. And apparently they just changed the printer so you have to pay to print. After all that I already pay to live here, it's just another way to be nickel and dimed.

The staff really could care less about residents as evident by Lauren's attitude. Obviously they have a poor yelp rating, I'm surprised it's not worse. At Valentia, we do try to ensure that anyone parking within the complex is a current resident of the community. This is the reason that an overnight permit is required for guests. Guest permits are easily acquired from the leasing office, or via our overnight courtesy patrol, should the office be closed.

I was able to listen to the phone conversation you had with one of the associates and you demanded and accused our current resident of keeping your package.

I can understand that you sent it by accident to this address, however, our current resident confirmed that they did not received it or had it in their procession.

I would strongly recommend to contact the carrier to get answers of the whereabouts of your package. We are sorry to hear you do not agree with the assessment of your security deposit, but we are required to return any apartment to the condition that the resident took possession of it, the cost of which resides with that resident.

Also, I was told that beyond the Valentia parking gates, only residents who have permits are qualified to park. I can say it is definitely not for me. Not a fan of the brown. You get ONE parking spot. Same fridge for all units. This is not a green option.

The staff is amazing and friendly and the amenities are so worth it. I have a 2 year old so to have a safe and comfortable place was defiantly a plus. We live by the play ground and I wouldn't of picked a better spot. Our apartment is very quite and peaceful and my neighbors are so nice!!!!! Where do I begin? Yes, this apartment complex is gorgeous, new, and has great amenities. However, other than what I mentioned above you will be paying for an overpriced apartment. When my husband and I first moved in, I woke up one morning to find our apartment flooded with water.

My husband contacted their maintenance team and they responded and were unable to figure out where the water came from.

They ended up contacting a plumber and they still could not determine where the water was coming from. In the end my husband and I had to deal with the loud annoying dehumidifiers for three days without any apology from management staff.

There were also fire alarms that would go off randomly due to residents smoking even though they stated their community is smoke free. Their staff is ridiculously rude and unprofessional. All they care about is renting out their overpriced apartments. My husband and I lived here for a year and couldn't wait for our lease to be over. This is how they treat their residents by towing their cars.

You can't even have visitors without putting them at risk of their cars getting towed. They also had random dead cockroaches around the complex from time to time that would be there for a couple of days.

Move in at your own risk. I'm living this place. When I rent house leasing office nice and very respectful. But when I rent after I management office sucks! They're not respectfully! Our maintenance team has taken higher cleaning and sanitization measures during this time of crisis. Railings are being cleaned more often and as much as possible. Walk- in gates and elevators are cleaned daily. In regard to the parking issues you have described, please be assured that our office carefully dispenses parking permits according to the allotted amount of parking spaces available on the property.

Any vehicles without permits are subject to be towed. Our Valentia staff makes every effort to enforce this policy. Addressing your concerns with security, our overnight courtesy patrol is on site nightly, seven days a week. They patrol the entire premises, so you may not see them in the same place at a given time on day to day basis.

Please don't hesitate to contact us! I'm pretty surprised to see people giving 1-stars. This place has its weaknesses, but I definitely don't think it's merits being lowballed like that. They need to get rid of this. If you want to use the gym be warned it is often overrun by some random man who holds classes in the gym for his clients. I have talked to people in the leasing office about this and was told they would take car of it yet I have seen him multiple times since.

It is frustrating that as a resident I cannot use certain equipment because it is being used by this man to make a profit. They are not residents and I have seen them leaving. They also park in the parking lots without parking permits. Considering there is barely enough parking for residents that is pretty crappy. There have been many occasions where my partner who works nights can not find a parking space in the evening meanwhile there are plenty of cars parked without permits.

It obviously isn't regulated. The hot tub is currently broken and the jets will not turn on. The entire place smells strongly of air freshener and the gym is full of plug in air fresheners. Some people have asthma or are concerned about their general health and don't want to be breathing those toxins in. If you are looking to live next to a construction site the old vons and want the noise and asphalt fumes that come along with that this is the place for you!

Very expensive. Terrible staff and management. It's no wonder so many people have already moved out. The gym is obviously nice and new like everything here but is always a mess with dirty towels laying around and things out of place. It's a very noisy location.

Our dishwasher doesn't work. The pool is supposedly heated but is freezing cold. The treadmill closest to the windows is broken and makes a terrible sound and hasn't been fixed. There is no parking available as mentioned in almost every other review.

And apparently they just changed the printer so you have to pay to print. After all that I already pay to live here, it's just another way to be nickel and dimed. The staff really could care less about residents as evident by Lauren's attitude.

Obviously they have a poor yelp rating, I'm surprised it's not worse. At Valentia, we do try to ensure that anyone parking within the complex is a current resident of the community.

This is the reason that an overnight permit is required for guests. Guest permits are easily acquired from the leasing office, or via our overnight courtesy patrol, should the office be closed.

I was able to listen to the phone conversation you had with one of the associates and you demanded and accused our current resident of keeping your package. I can understand that you sent it by accident to this address, however, our current resident confirmed that they did not received it or had it in their procession. I would strongly recommend to contact the carrier to get answers of the whereabouts of your package.

I have to walk for approximately 5 minutes to get to my home. Also, I was told that beyond the Valentia parking gates, only residents who have permits are qualified to park.

Which is quite unfair because residents who do not have permits hold that spot restricting the paying residents from parking and charging their car. I don't know why they can't assign parking spots for us so everyone can park near their home. Like I mentioned I pay extra for parking and I would prefer to have a more comfortable parking experience. I have a very active job and I feel exhausted after work and I don't want to have to go round and around as if I'm looking for street parking in LA..

After reviewing our records about the water leak in the apartment, I did see that our maintenance team responded in a timely manner and you are correct even after contacting a plumber we were unable to determine the source of the leak because there was no leak in the apartment.

We did monitor the situation very closely and I was able to see that no additional water related problems occurred in the apartment. I know that the team informed you that we needed to install dehumidifiers to dry down the floors and all residents in the apartments agreed and were ok with the process.

In regards to the fire alarms going off in the community, we took every step soon after this took place. The office sent-out smoking reminders to the entire community and we also posted signs throughout the community to remind all residents of our non-smoking policy. As part of our tour, parking policies are always disclosed to all propspective residents and it is also part of our lease agreement. When you had decided to cancel your parking permit you were remined that parking is enforced and permit parking is required.

After reviewing our records about the water leak in the apartment, I did see that our maintenance team responded in a timely manner and you are correct even after contacting a plumber we were unable to determine the source of the leak because there was no leak in the apartment.

We did monitor the situation very closely and I was able to see that no additional water related problems occurred in the apartment. I know that the team informed you that we needed to install dehumidifiers to dry down the floors and all residents in the apartments agreed and were ok with the process.

In regards to the fire alarms going off in the community, we took every step soon after this took place. The office sent-out smoking reminders to the entire community and we also posted signs throughout the community to remind all residents of our non-smoking policy. As part of our tour, parking policies are always disclosed to all propspective residents and it is also part of our lease agreement.

When you had decided to cancel your parking permit you were remined that parking is enforced and permit parking is required. At Valenia our main goal is to provide our propects and residents with the best service possible. Cons: Parking: parking sucks There is almost no guest parking so if you like to have anyone over ever this place is not for you. Alarms: The fire alarms go off very often in the middle of the night. Water pressure is low and it takes forever for the hot water to come out. The people in their leasing office are rude and they don't care about their tenants. Our air conditioner went out in the beginning of summer and they quickly brought us some large air conditioning units one for each room.

I took them over three weeks and noting. We had a friend to come in and fix it. That job was a 2 thousand dollar job and Valentia still couldn't give us a date to fix our air. If you live in the back apartments, yours stairs and hallways do not get cleaned very often. One other weird thing, there used to a hospital and old run down apartment building and that place gave me the creeps.

Weird stuff always happened like our dog barking for nothing and walking to your kitchen would give you the creeps and more We complained many times, but never seen results. I wish I could post the Videos I have about this. For the price they charge, you will get a real value of your money somewhere else.

Management is passive aggressive. Instead of asking someone to turn down music they will leave notes like the one pictured with profanity in them. Extremely unprofessional. I was force to evacuate this apartment which was on the 3rd floor because of constant shakes like a earthquake.

Management try to explain it was the doors closing like I don't know the difference especially 1 or 2 am in the morning also security constantly on pa next door at 3am. Dog shit always in flower bed and on ground. Infested with fly's entrance to your building from all the dog shit a pee in flower bed.

Your animal will have to handle there business in flower bed. No dog run. Ants on constance basis. Plus I agreed to and apartment that was promise to me only to get a different one at the last minute after preparing myself for move and deadline. Some tenants are stuck up and rude. My first day I had one flip me the finger.

As I was leaving the apartment office. Plus they tack on hidden fees after you made arrangements to move in. Your charged for garbage pick up for Building and water. Then they charge you for valet service that you don't want to pickup your trash at your front door. The manager of the place was very nice thats it. The lady that rented me the place would constantly stick her tits in my face to close the deal. Then don't speak to you after you move in and treat you like shit. You know who you are.

Overall cons: parking - if you need an additional spot, and you come home late from work, just be prepared to spend a few minutes looking and walking to your apartment. Examples of management from my time as a tenant: multiple residents complained including me about a dog barking problem - management stepped in and removed the tenants. Residents wanted more weights and rubber mats in the gym - management bought them. Riff-raff started coming to the pool and left quite a mess - management made new rules about large parties of guests.

I was generally impressed. Our entire deposit plus even more charges were taken after moving out. We went in to talk to them and were still charged despite showing photos taken of the apartment when moving out.

It was spotless and no damages yet they charged for cleaning, painting and carpet cleaning. We were told before moving out that the apartment would be painted anyways so we didn't need to worry about the walls at all, yet of course we were charged for painting them.

Obviously a brand new apartment isn't going to continue to look brand new after two years and them saying it wasn't returned in the exact same condition well no duh dipshits.

Expect to lose all of your deposit since they automatically take out for painting and carpet cleaning for all residents.

Will attach a photo of the charges. Very crooked people working here. Don't love here you pay an arm and a leg for rent and you can't even have guests over. There's no parking. Not even our front you need a pass. How crazy is that to go through all that just to have your guest park. It's insane. Do yourself a favor and don't rent from this place.

I can't even find words to say about Jessica Moreno. She helped me stay in my apartment without needing to get transferred and spend the holidays at home. She went above and beyond to keep an eye out for what I needed and communicated with me even with it was off hours to make sure I always knew my options and helped me choose what's best and within my budget.

Thank you Very very rude office staff. Terrible at answering the phones and providing quality customer service. They will hang up the call and don't even have the decency to be respectful. This place has its weaknesses, but I definitely don't think it's merits being lowballed like that. They need to get rid of this. If you want to use the gym be warned it is often overrun by some random man who holds classes in the gym for his clients.

I have talked to people in the leasing office about this and was told they would take car of it yet I have seen him multiple times since.

It is frustrating that as a resident I cannot use certain equipment because it is being used by this man to make a profit. They are not residents and I have seen them leaving.

They also park in the parking lots without parking permits. Considering there is barely enough parking for residents that is pretty crappy. There have been many occasions where my partner who works nights can not find a parking space in the evening meanwhile there are plenty of cars parked without permits. It obviously isn't regulated. The hot tub is currently broken and the jets will not turn on. The entire place smells strongly of air freshener and the gym is full of plug in air fresheners.

Some people have asthma or are concerned about their general health and don't want to be breathing those toxins in. If you are looking to live next to a construction site the old vons and want the noise and asphalt fumes that come along with that this is the place for you! Very expensive. Terrible staff and management. It's no wonder so many people have already moved out. The gym is obviously nice and new like everything here but is always a mess with dirty towels laying around and things out of place.

It's a very noisy location. Our dishwasher doesn't work. The pool is supposedly heated but is freezing cold. The treadmill closest to the windows is broken and makes a terrible sound and hasn't been fixed. There is no parking available as mentioned in almost every other review.

And apparently they just changed the printer so you have to pay to print. After all that I already pay to live here, it's just another way to be nickel and dimed. The staff really could care less about residents as evident by Lauren's attitude. Obviously they have a poor yelp rating, I'm surprised it's not worse. At Valentia, we do try to ensure that anyone parking within the complex is a current resident of the community.

This is the reason that an overnight permit is required for guests. Guest permits are easily acquired from the leasing office, or via our overnight courtesy patrol, should the office be closed. Please follow up with the leasing office if you have any further questions. Very very rude office staff. I sincerely apologize that you feel that we have not met your expectations.

I was able to listen to the phone conversation you had with one of the associates and you demanded and accused our current resident of keeping your package. I can understand that you sent it by accident to this address, however, our current resident confirmed that they did not received it or had it in their procession.

I would strongly recommend to contact the carrier to get answers of the whereabouts of your package. We are sorry to hear you do not agree with the assessment of your security deposit, but we are required to return any apartment to the condition that the resident took possession of it, the cost of which resides with that resident. I have to walk for approximately 5 minutes to get to my home. Also, I was told that beyond the Valentia parking gates, only residents who have permits are qualified to park. Which is quite unfair because residents who do not have permits hold that spot restricting the paying residents from parking and charging their car.

I love living here!!! After reviewing our records about the water leak in the apartment, I did see that our maintenance team responded in a timely manner and you are correct even after contacting a plumber we were unable to determine the source of the leak because there was no leak in the apartment. We did monitor the situation very closely and I was able to see that no additional water related problems occurred in the apartment.

I know that the team informed you that we needed to install dehumidifiers to dry down the floors and all residents in the apartments agreed and were ok with the process. In regards to the fire alarms going off in the community, we took every step soon after this took place.

The office sent-out smoking reminders to the entire community and we also posted signs throughout the community to remind all residents of our non-smoking policy. As part of our tour, parking policies are always disclosed to all propspective residents and it is also part of our lease agreement. When you had decided to cancel your parking permit you were remined that parking is enforced and permit parking is required.

I'm pretty surprised to see people giving 1-stars. This place has its weaknesses, but I definitely don't think it's merits being lowballed like that. They need to get rid of this. If you want to use the gym be warned it is often overrun by some random man who holds classes in the gym for his clients. I have talked to people in the leasing office about this and was told they would take car of it yet I have seen him multiple times since.

It is frustrating that as a resident I cannot use certain equipment because it is being used by this man to make a profit. They are not residents and I have seen them leaving. They also park in the parking lots without parking permits. Considering there is barely enough parking for residents that is pretty crappy.

There have been many occasions where my partner who works nights can not find a parking space in the evening meanwhile there are plenty of cars parked without permits. It obviously isn't regulated. The hot tub is currently broken and the jets will not turn on. The entire place smells strongly of air freshener and the gym is full of plug in air fresheners.

Some people have asthma or are concerned about their general health and don't want to be breathing those toxins in. If you are looking to live next to a construction site the old vons and want the noise and asphalt fumes that come along with that this is the place for you!

It's a very noisy location. Our dishwasher doesn't work. The pool is supposedly heated but is freezing cold. The treadmill closest to the windows is broken and makes a terrible sound and hasn't been fixed. There is no parking available as mentioned in almost every other review. And apparently they just changed the printer so you have to pay to print. After all that I already pay to live here, it's just another way to be nickel and dimed. The staff really could care less about residents as evident by Lauren's attitude.

Obviously they have a poor yelp rating, I'm surprised it's not worse. At Valentia, we do try to ensure that anyone parking within the complex is a current resident of the community.

I was able to listen to the phone conversation you had with one of the associates and you demanded and accused our current resident of keeping your package. I can understand that you sent it by accident to this address, however, our current resident confirmed that they did not received it or had it in their procession. I would strongly recommend to contact the carrier to get answers of the whereabouts of your package.

The amenities are well kept, clean, and new. The price however is a little steep for what you're getting. Pro tip: Upon moving out be sure to take pictures of your apartment.

Kind of messed up, but I suppose this it what you get working with a large company. Left with a sour taste in my mouth. Great community and great staff! Always have cool events. The apartments are very spacious amenities are amazing.

There are tons of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Resident will love living at Valentia! Overall, this place is fine. Lots of amenities. I use the gym quite a bit and having tons of BBQ options and dog parks is also nice. A late night hot tub trip is also nice. There's a club room you can rent that is very nice and a study room, bocceball court and lots of places to lounge around and relax.

Cons: There's actually one big one, in my opinion. It's crowded all the time with people coming and going. Most of the residents are young couples with lots of small children. Depending on where you live, the people can be distracting in your room as well. This place really didn't need four floors. Because of this, parking is a nightmare.

The rent is pretty high as well, we pay a ton for a two bedroom. Overall, it's a nice place to stay, but my wife and I are out of here as soon as the lease expires.

Someplace quieter. Ericka is the best! She's so patience and such a well rounded person. I was in a difficult situation with renewing my lease and she went through so much to make it work for me. She helped me throughout the long process and because of her I was able to resolve my issues. I understand that everyone has different needs, that is why I have given them a 3 star. Not a fan of the brown. You get ONE parking spot. Same fridge for all units. This is not a green option. The staff is amazing and friendly and the amenities are so worth it. They ended up contacting a plumber and they still could not determine where the water was coming from. In the end my husband and I had to deal with the loud annoying dehumidifiers for three days without any apology from management staff.

There were also fire alarms that would go off randomly due to residents smoking even though they stated their community is smoke free. Their staff is ridiculously rude and unprofessional. All they care about is renting out their overpriced apartments. My husband and I lived here for a year and couldn't wait for our lease to be over. This is how they treat their residents by towing their cars.

You can't even have visitors without putting them at risk of their cars getting towed. They also had random dead cockroaches around the complex from time to time that would be there for a couple of days. Move in at your own risk. I'm living this place. When I rent house leasing office nice and very respectful.

But when I rent after I management office sucks! They're not respectfully! They're unprofessional. I'll pay that ticket but I hate this management office. And I'll leave after contract from there. I would strongly recommend to contact the carrier to get answers of the whereabouts of your package. We are sorry to hear you do not agree with the assessment of your security deposit, but we are required to return any apartment to the condition that the resident took possession of it, the cost of which resides with that resident.

I know that the team informed you that we needed to install dehumidifiers to dry down the floors and all residents in the apartments agreed and were ok with the process. In regards to the fire alarms going off in the community, we took every step soon after this took place.

The office sent-out smoking reminders to the entire community and we also posted signs throughout the community to remind all residents of our non-smoking policy. As part of our tour, parking policies are always disclosed to all propspective residents and it is also part of our lease agreement. This place has its weaknesses, but I definitely don't think it's merits being lowballed like that. They need to get rid of this. If you want to use the gym be warned it is often overrun by some random man who holds classes in the gym for his clients.

I have talked to people in the leasing office about this and was told they would take car of it yet I have seen him multiple times since. It is frustrating that as a resident I cannot use certain equipment because it is being used by this man to make a profit.

Considering there is barely enough parking for residents that is pretty crappy. There have been many occasions where my partner who works nights can not find a parking space in the evening meanwhile there are plenty of cars parked without permits.

It obviously isn't regulated. The hot tub is currently broken and the jets will not turn on. The entire place smells strongly of air freshener and the gym is full of plug in air fresheners. Some people have asthma or are concerned about their general health and don't want to be breathing those toxins in. If you are looking to live next to a construction site the old vons and want the noise and asphalt fumes that come along with that this is the place for you!

The gym is obviously nice and new like everything here but is always a mess with dirty towels laying around and things out of place. It's a very noisy location. Our dishwasher doesn't work. The cleaners are there daily cleaning the gym,bbq and all common areas. Cons: Parking: parking sucks There is almost no guest parking so if you like to have anyone over ever this place is not for you. Alarms: The fire alarms go off very often in the middle of the night. If you have a pet or child this is will frighten them. Value: For La Habra it is overpriced for the overall living experience. We found a much nicer complex for about the same rate and are much happier now.

We have never been so happy to move out. Good luck! Valentia apartments are the worst apartments to live in except if you like living in the dark living room, dining area and kitchen. Water pressure is low and it takes forever for the hot water to come out. The people in their leasing office are rude and they don't care about their tenants. Our air conditioner went out in the beginning of summer and they quickly brought us some large air conditioning units one for each room.

I took them over three weeks and noting. We had a friend to come in and fix it. That job was a 2 thousand dollar job and Valentia still couldn't give us a date to fix our air. If you live in the back apartments, yours stairs and hallways do not get cleaned very often. One other weird thing, there used to a hospital and old run down apartment building and that place gave me the creeps. Weird stuff always happened like our dog barking for nothing and walking to your kitchen would give you the creeps and more We complained many times, but never seen results.

I wish I could post the Videos I have about this. For the price they charge, you will get a real value of your money somewhere else. Management is passive aggressive. Instead of asking someone to turn down music they will leave notes like the one pictured with profanity in them. Extremely unprofessional. I was force to evacuate this apartment which was on the 3rd floor because of constant shakes like a earthquake.

Management try to explain it was the doors closing like I don't know the difference especially 1 or 2 am in the morning also security constantly on pa next door at 3am. Dog shit always in flower bed and on ground. Infested with fly's entrance to your building from all the dog shit a pee in flower bed. Your animal will have to handle there business in flower bed. No dog run. Ants on constance basis. Plus I agreed to and apartment that was promise to me only to get a different one at the last minute after preparing myself for move and deadline.

Some tenants are stuck up and rude. My first day I had one flip me the finger. As I was leaving the apartment office. Plus they tack on hidden fees after you made arrangements to move in.

Your charged for garbage pick up for Building and water. Then they charge you for valet service that you don't want to pickup your trash at your front door. The manager of the place was very nice thats it. The lady that rented me the place would constantly stick her tits in my face to close the deal. Then don't speak to you after you move in and treat you like shit.

Examples of management from my time as a tenant: multiple residents complained including me about a dog barking problem - management stepped in and removed the tenants.

Residents wanted more weights and rubber mats in the gym - management bought them. Riff-raff started coming to the pool and left quite a mess - management made new rules about large parties of guests.

I was generally impressed. Our entire deposit plus even more charges were taken after moving out. We went in to talk to them and were still charged despite showing photos taken of the apartment when moving out.

It was spotless and no damages yet they charged for cleaning, painting and carpet cleaning. We were told before moving out that the apartment would be painted anyways so we didn't need to worry about the walls at all, yet of course we were charged for painting them.

Obviously a brand new apartment isn't going to continue to look brand new after two years and them saying it wasn't returned in the exact same condition well no duh dipshits. Expect to lose all of your deposit since they automatically take out for painting and carpet cleaning for all residents. Will attach a photo of the charges. Very crooked people working here. Don't love here you pay an arm and a leg for rent and you can't even have guests over.

There's no parking. Not even our front you need a pass. How crazy is that to go through all that just to have your guest park. It's insane. Do yourself a favor and don't rent from this place. I can't even find words to say about Jessica Moreno. She helped me stay in my apartment without needing to get transferred and spend the holidays at home. She went above and beyond to keep an eye out for what I needed and communicated with me even with it was off hours to make sure I always knew my options and helped me choose what's best and within my budget.

I use the gym quite a bit and having tons of BBQ options and dog parks is also nice. A late night hot tub trip is also nice. There's a club room you can rent that is very nice and a study room, bocceball court and lots of places to lounge around and relax. Cons: There's actually one big one, in my opinion. It's crowded all the time with people coming and going. Most of the residents are young couples with lots of small children. Depending on where you live, the people can be distracting in your room as well.

This place really didn't need four floors. Because of this, parking is a nightmare. The rent is pretty high as well, we pay a ton for a two bedroom. Overall, it's a nice place to stay, but my wife and I are out of here as soon as the lease expires.

However, other than what I mentioned above you will be paying for an overpriced apartment. When my husband and I first moved in, I woke up one morning to find our apartment flooded with water.

My husband contacted their maintenance team and they responded and were unable to figure out where the water came from. They ended up contacting a plumber and they still could not determine where the water was coming from. In the end my husband and I had to deal with the loud annoying dehumidifiers for three days without any apology from management staff.

There were also fire alarms that would go off randomly due to residents smoking even though they stated their community is smoke free. Their staff is ridiculously rude and unprofessional. All they care about is renting out their overpriced apartments. My husband and I lived here for a year and couldn't wait for our lease to be over. This is how they treat their residents by towing their cars. You can't even have visitors without putting them at risk of their cars getting towed. Please don't hesitate to contact us! I'm pretty surprised to see people giving 1-stars. This place has its weaknesses, but I definitely don't think it's merits being lowballed like that.

They need to get rid of this. If you want to use the gym be warned it is often overrun by some random man who holds classes in the gym for his clients. I have talked to people in the leasing office about this and was told they would take car of it yet I have seen him multiple times since. It is frustrating that as a resident I cannot use certain equipment because it is being used by this man to make a profit.

They are not residents and I have seen them leaving. They also park in the parking lots without parking permits. Considering there is barely enough parking for residents that is pretty crappy. There have been many occasions where my partner who works nights can not find a parking space in the evening meanwhile there are plenty of cars parked without permits. It obviously isn't regulated. The hot tub is currently broken and the jets will not turn on. The entire place smells strongly of air freshener and the gym is full of plug in air fresheners.

Some people have asthma or are concerned about their general health and don't want to be breathing those toxins in. If you are looking to live next to a construction site the old vons and want the noise and asphalt fumes that come along with that this is the place for you! Very expensive. Terrible staff and management. It's no wonder so many people have already moved out. The gym is obviously nice and new like everything here but is always a mess with dirty towels laying around and things out of place.

It's a very noisy location. Our dishwasher doesn't work. The pool is supposedly heated but is freezing cold. The treadmill closest to the windows is broken and makes a terrible sound and hasn't been fixed.

There is no parking available as mentioned in almost every other review. And apparently they just changed the printer so you have to pay to print.

After all that I already pay to live here, it's just another way to be nickel and dimed. The staff really could care less about residents as evident by Lauren's attitude. Obviously they have a poor yelp rating, I'm surprised it's not worse. At Valentia, we do try to ensure that anyone parking within the complex is a current resident of the community. This is the reason that an overnight permit is required for guests.

Guest permits are easily acquired from the leasing office, or via our overnight courtesy patrol, should the office be closed.

I was able to listen to the phone conversation you had with one of the associates and you demanded and accused our current resident of keeping your package.

I can understand that you sent it by accident to this address, however, our current resident confirmed that they did not received it or had it in their procession. I would strongly recommend to contact the carrier to get answers of the whereabouts of your package. We are sorry to hear you do not agree with the assessment of your security deposit, but we are required to return any apartment to the condition that the resident took possession of it, the cost of which resides with that resident.

Filed many complaints before but the leasing office tells me that there is always a parking spot for everyone.. I have to walk for approximately 5 minutes to get to my home.

Also, I was told that beyond the Valentia parking gates, only residents who have permits are qualified to park. Which is quite unfair because residents who do not have permits hold that spot restricting the paying residents from parking and charging their car.

I love living here!!! After reviewing our records about the water leak in the apartment, I did see that our maintenance team responded in a timely manner and you are correct even after contacting a plumber we were unable to determine the source of the leak because there was no leak in the apartment.

We did monitor the situation very closely and I was able to see that no additional water related problems occurred in the apartment. I know that the team informed you that we needed to install dehumidifiers to dry down the floors and all residents in the apartments agreed and were ok with the process.

In regards to the fire alarms going off in the community, we took every step soon after this took place. The office sent-out smoking reminders to the entire community and we also posted signs throughout the community to remind all residents of our non-smoking policy. As part of our tour, parking policies are always disclosed to all propspective residents and it is also part of our lease agreement.

When you had decided to cancel your parking permit you were remined that parking is enforced and permit parking is required. At Valenia our main goal is to provide our propects and residents with the best service possible.
