Beverly Cheung wrote a review Feb Panama City, Panama 6 contributions 1 helpful vote. Stayed for Honeymoon. The staff is very friendly and service oriented but the hotel is very poor shape, the room is not comfortable, the pillows are not even real pillows.
They didnt had the AC available because of winter but it wasn't even winter there Location wise is ok, very close to Sagrada Familia Church but is next to a school so in the morning there is the noise of kids yelling and running around. Date of stay: February Trip type: Travelled as a couple. Helpful Share. Emrahtirak wrote a review Feb Dirty Rooms,. Hotel is not comfortable. We had booked dbl room with king sized bed but we had been given with a twin bed room. We asked for change but receptionist said there was no other option.
Then we have found out the floor is very dirty not cleaned and there were many hair pieces so we complained and they finally changed the room but the new room was also dirty with hairs on the ground. Towels were not enough and we asked for additional towel but receptionist said to come and pick up cause he was alone at hotel. This hotel is not a clean as it is supposed to be standard. This hotel was in a fab location to Sagrada and also has a rooftop terrace with a good view of Sagrada. Price wise was reasonable and it was clean and room size was reasonable for what a choose. Free WiFi and I had buffet breakfast which I think could have had more choose but was adequate.

The room was clean and nice view from our room. The breakfast was good. There was salty and sweet. We ate very well! Date of stay: August Rooms. It is a quite basic hotel although it is very well kept up. Seems recently remodeled. For us it was an excellent location. If you can get a good price don't hesitate to book here. Dec If, like me, you really like your coffee in the morning, then go to the little coffee-shop next door rather than have coffee at the hotel. In the rooms we had the floors don't have carpets, which is a plus to me.
The amenities are very basic, but I wasn't looking for anything more anyways. Overall a great hotel if you want to be in a great location, that will make you comfortable in between site-seeing. Good facilities, staff, cleanliness superb, good breakfast, only downside you have to transfer from the main train station to local subway to reach sagrada familia exit.
Hard to find your way to transfer from main train platform to subway, hard to ask question for direction from train staff and we are misled as to right direction to reach subway platform and when we finally exited at sagrada exit, a police officer i approach for direction just answered he dont know and turn his back on me.
My google map was not working at that time hence hard to find the right direction. If you have luggage it is hard to transfer between trains and the hotel is around 5 minute walk from the subway exit. A very kind lady with a kid heard my question to the police who turn his back on me and she very kindly guided us and she even waited for us when we stop a while as we were very tired walking with our luggage and it is already around 8pm when we arrived.
We will forever be greatful to her. Great start. They were very uncomfortable. Having said that, this is a great city hotel in a great location, literally 3 minutes walk to the Sagrada Familia.
This is really nice hotel in a great location. The hotel is clean and fresh and the staff are very hopeful and friendly. On the same block as the hotel you have 2 little supermarkets and 5 little places to eat.
You are 2 blocks from Sagrada Familia in one direction and 3 from Sant Pau. Three blocks Long from the hotel you will find 3 blocks of alfresco eating. This hotel is in a quite street so close to everything you could want.
The hotel is a modern one It does not look old n scary. Its so close to Sagrada Familia, but a train away from la rambla, the center of Barcelona. It has wifi connection inside n with aircon. The breakfast is great. Due to changes to our schedule, we were unable to stay in our previous hotel. With a stroke of luck, we found this hotel via agoda website that is close to Sagrada Familia and offers free wireless internet even in rooms.
The service provided by the staff was great. The only negative was that we were unable to access the roof to view the night sky at night. As its name suggested, the hotel is located conveniently near Sagrada Familia. It only takes us around 5 min to walk to there. And the reception can speak good English, which is very important when you're staying in Barcelona.
The reception is also helpful when we asked them about location of other places and they showed us with a map and even helped us write down the Catalan name of some buildings to avoid us from missing them. Overall this is a great experience and i am quite sure i will come back again. Nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The hotel is just about 4-min away. Friendly and helpful staff will greet you.
Room is clean and comfortable. So easy to get from and back to the airport. This is a really pleasant hotel. Room is spacious and the staff is really helpful.
It is just 2 blocks away from the Sagrada Familia and the train station. There are cafes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
We would gladly stay here again. It was great value for money. The staff were very helpful and spoke English well. The room was compact but had everything we required and was very clean. It was perfectly loated for us to visit La Sagrada Familia.
A short stay for two nights. Really great location near sagrada familia, although the walk to the hotel was an incline road but it is worth the price. Sagrada familia less than a 5 minute walk away. Lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Easy to find from metro station. Hotel nice and clean with everything you need. If you want to travel cheap and easy, hotel sagrada familia is the best choice for you. The hotel is just few steps away from the famous cathedral and you can find all kind of tapas and bar along the street.
The receptionists are all very friend and the hotel provide free wifi services. If you would like to print out your flight boarding pass for your next destination you may use the public computer placed at the lobby and the price is reasonable.
If you want to stay next to Sagrada Familia, which is a bit off the city center in the new quarters, this hotel is perfectly located just 2 blocks away with view on the towers from its roof terrace. The rooms are small, but seem to be clean. Staff is ok, not too friendly, but not rude, helpful enough. The hotel offers a parking at extra charge of 27 EUR about a block away, which is helpful in Barcelona. Overall good experience. Hotel is located in a residential neighbourhood within walking distance to the famous Sagrada Familia church.
Rooms were clean and the complimentary buffet breakfast was more than enough to perk you up for the day. The reception staff were great and helpful. They will even pack breakfast for takeaway if you need to leave early for a tour as in Spain everthing starts late that includes breakfast at the hotel which is only available from 8.
Although the location is a little far from the city centre, there is a subway nearby the church but then taxis are cheap and readily available. Many restaurants and cafes surrounding the hotel. Highly recommend the restaurant A Angelo Marcelo next to the hotel. They serve delicious Catalonian traditional food at one of the best Sangria in Barcelona.
For Chinese food try San Martin also next to the hotel. Staff was prompt in their replies over email and very helpful overall. Hotel was near but a bit of walk from the metro. Really near the Sagrada though. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around the area. Taxis are cheap there so pretty easy to get around.
Room was very comfortable but the air conditioning was switched off during winter and it got a bit hot. Opened the window which was facing other rooms and then it got very cold. So was a bit inconvenient. Breakfast was worth it though. Really good selection. Overall really liked this hotel and would stay again. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Sagrada Familia.
I just do not think the rooms were cleaned thoroughly, I was in the room when my room was cleaned on one occasion and all that was done was, my bed made and only the pillow cases were changed, the floor wasn't cleaned, the bathroom was not cleaned either, only the garbage bags were changed.
The location was excellent, staff were very helpful, breakfast was just okay. Finding the hotel was easy although it seems that the Spanish taxi drivers are getting worse for ripping off tourists now!!! I'll make a note to walk everywhere in future.
The hotel has a fantastic location in sagrada familia. Spectacular location close to nice restaurants, shopping and all the sights. However despite booking a double room I was allocated a small twin room which had quite possibly the worst view I have ever paid for. The room was extremely hot as well with no air conditioning. The room was so hot it was uncomfortable and given that the temperature was only degrees it was worth a complaint about the air con. Beware, this hotel only has centrally operated air conditioning and was switched to "heat" during our stay.
The staff were helpful but snotty when I pointed out that I had not been allocated a room that I had paid for. However they were helpful to allocate me the correct room for the next and subsequent nights. The room I was moved to was extremely nice with a pleasant view. The only final disappointment was how hard it was to get hot drinks from the hotel. Apart from that - I would conclude that it's good value for money and worth staying because of location and price.
