I have just recently moved into Plaza Square Apartments, and thus far, my experience has been extremely positive. The amenities are certainly leaps and bounds above other apartment complexes that I looked at in the area especially the very nice gym and pool area , and the leasing office staff especially Allison was wonderfully responsive and helpful during my move-in process.

I have only had one small maintenance problem thus far, but the staff was also very speedy in responding to that concern. It is undeniable that the price may be a little high, but from what I can tell so far, it seems that is because you are getting what you pay for here. My husband and I are so comfortable living here. Our apartment is so spacious with windows almost floor to ceiling allowing us so much sunlight and beautiful views. We also have a nice balcony allowing us to sit outside whenever we wish.

We truly couldn't ask for more. My husband has to travel into NY quite a bit. The train is walking distance Such easy access to restaurants, stores, parks.

The concierge package system is so awesome. Last but certainly not least, the management group is so welcoming. They are extremely pleasant and a joy to work with. You never feel that you are bothering them. Maintenance is so wonderful too. Whenever we had an issue, and there weren't many, they responded so quickly and were also very pleasant. My husband and I both agree, we couldn't have picked a better place to live. We stopped in today to inquire about an apartment. The staff appeared to be a manager was unwelcoming and "snapped" at us about where we parked.

Directed us to park on the street. When my husband drove around for several minutes, she was annoyed and not helpful. It is amazing the impact employees can have on the company and the brand. Thanks to her, Plaza Squared lost a customer. Overall, I really enjoy residing at this apartment complex. As with most apartments there could be some changes based on personal preferences. There are also some things that are just annoying and should be fixed. I'll start with the positives. I really feel safe at the complex.

They have a courtesy officer present most of the time. I also love the gym, business center, and lounge area huge selling points! The atmosphere of the apartments are nice with wood floors and marble looking countertops.

I love my balcony that is tucked away, even though it overlooks the highway. Personal preferences: the pool should be open later in the evenings for people who don't get off work until late. They should also consider having an adult swim. The dog park could be bigger and have a section for small versus big dogs. You should have access to grills at all times again consider work schedules. Lastly, guest parking should be a lot easier. If you don't know a guest is coming prior to the leasing office closing then you are just out of luck not cool!

Annoyances that should be changed: hot tub did not work for the majority of the summer! Apartments could be bigger and there are not many storage options within the apartment. Also people close off one of the elevators right before work time 8am-9am to empty trash, not okay!! Smell of the trash chutes can get pretty bad, but they do make an effort to do cleanings, just should be more regular. I have had several complaints from guests that they were treated pretty rudely from courtesy officers regarding parking.

Not sure about this as I was not present but the complaint did come from different people so it is a concern. Overall, I enjoy it especially considering the location.

The property inside and out is well maintained. Currently the pool is being renovated, but my understanding is that it will be done in the next few weeks. It's pretty remarkable given the location that I can sit out on my balcony and have a nice green space below and feel very relaxed.

Someone else described the gym here as "a few cardio machines," but it is actually quite sizeable--I think 6 treadmills, about the same number of ellipticals, 3 or 4 recumbent bikes, and a ton of different weight machines plus plenty of free weights. There is also a studio for stretching or if you have a fitness video you want to use DVD player and TV available.

The business center on the property is very convenient for studying, printing, or just working generally. The lounge is beautiful and usually very lightly occupied.

Living here is great because you have an apartment in the size you're comfortable with or that you can afford, but the other areas of the building provide you with the feeling of having much more space.

Maintenance has been fantastic. Just yesterday I put in a work order in the morning and when I came home in the evening, the job was done. The leasing office is responsive and fair. We have been marveling at how little sound of any kind we hear from our neighbors.

Despite having lived here through the Rutgers graduation, we have not heard any kind of parties or seen any kind of undesirable behavior. The location is perfect if you are commuting by train, and the proximity to restaurants and other fun things like the State Theater downtown is excellent. I highly recommend Plaza Square. In fact we just talked our friends, who are relocating from the South, into joining us! I will definitely update this as we live here longer, but as of now, it's been fantastic and I'm so glad we moved here.

I do wish they were open during the weekdays though. Very nice place to live Have you been to Plaza Square? It's a residence beyond compare! Located along historic Neilsen Street The services here cannot be beat! Parking under the building is private and locked On-site guards around the whole block The magnificent lounge on the second floor Offers relaxation with an ambiance you'll adore Use it for a personal, peaceful retreat Or rent it as a venue for your upcoming fete Management parties for residents are fun Scrumptious food and prizes to be won When warm weather arrives an oasis, you'll need Relax at the pool and bring a book to read The water's refreshing and the grill is nearby So, cook up a burger for a snack as you dry And never worry if something breaks down The maintenance crew are always around They can fix anything with skill and with ease Their motto is "ready and eager to please" Pets love the dog run and grassy places to walk They meet other friends while owners stop to talk Plaza Square is a great place to be Ask any resident and then you will see.

The worst change was that they fired the two concierges I raved about below and installed a robotic system called Package Concierge. The staff who remain are good, but those guys and the service they provided were the heart of the community and it was disheartening to see them literally replaced and ineffectively so by a machine. The rent goes up every year, to the point that we are now having to consider moving because it's just not financially feasible to stay, though the rent was reasonable when we moved in.

The management often sends out community-wide punitive emails threatening to fine in red, bold, italic font people for various small infractions. They make you pay for trash service which is fine , but then demand that you carry any cardboard boxes all the way down to a dumpster near the office which is like a full block walk for us to dispose of them rather than using the trash rooms throughout the complex and threaten to FINE anyone who does not comply.

They bill this place as "luxury apartments" but the reality is that it is an increasingly do-it-yourself approach with little human touch anymore.

They spent probably a fortune renovating the front office area and lounge which are beautiful but have really removed the nice parts of their service that made Plaza Square feel special. Update: We have now lived at Plaza Square for well over a year and my opinion hasn't changed. Still quiet, attractive, and pleasant. No maintenance, pest, or neighbor problems to speak of. I recently discovered a private bus route that makes my commute to NYC less grueling. Love the downtown, especially the Stress Factory.

The best staffers are Nick and Jonathan, the concierges. Nick somehow memorizes everybody's apartment number. And both are unfailingly polite and helpful. They even call when it's getting late in the evening and I haven't picked up a perishable delivery. The pool is great in the summer. Hopefully the rent won't go up next time our lease is up.

We signed on for another 15 months recently and there was a slight increase. Great place to live in New Brunswick. I have been living here for more than a year, amenities and leasing office staffs are great. It is not perfect, but I do think it is one of the best in NB. This is a great community to live in! The amenities are all top notch - the pool is very clean and well maintained, the fitness room is complete with everything you need for a good workout, and the leasing office staff is super friendly and helpful.

Any time I have any questions or issues, Alyssa is always very quick to respond and get me the information that I need. One of the best parts of living here is they do resident pool parties and they always get food catered from Garden State Ale House aka George Street Ale House.

The food is always great and the parties are an awesome way to get to know other people living in the community. Has gone downhill. Main problem is lack of supervision on weekend evenings around the complex and in the stairwells. Too much noise in main courtyard, which is used often as a "hang out.

Noise level at night needs to be much better enforced. Used to be better for families. You get so many luxury amenities here for a very decent price. The pool is such a great thing to have during the summer months and during the winter you can come inside and stay warm in the sauna!

Also, the leasing office staff is so friendly and helpful and are always willing to answer any questions we have. If you're looking for a great place to live whether you're a college student or a small family , the Plaza Square should definitely be a place you come check out! Stores, restaurants, etc. The summer is the best time here as I'm a pool person and the pool area is nice and relaxing, plus the provided grills are a bonus. The jacuzzi works when it wants to, however. Overall, great complex and staff.

Amenities are nice, and sometimes overshadow the costs of living here HA! Hope this helps! I've lived here for over a year and really enjoy the complex. The renovated apartments are beautiful and I love the package concierge system, gym, and pool amenities. The management staff are all very responsive to our needs. It's a 10 minute walk to NJ Transit, which makes the complex very convenient for my commute to the city each day.

I have been living at Plaza Square for more than 3 years. It's a great place to leave. It's in the middle of New Brunswick Downtown, walking distance from many great restaurants, stores, train station The apartments have a great size.

And my favorite part is the poll area during summer. Great apartment community in the heart of New Brunswick! I have lived here for over three years and have not had a single complaint! Very safe, affordable, up to date complex. Great leasing office, security officer, and maintenance crew. Very reactive to anything! I had a light bulb go out the other night and submitted a request at 10pm. The next morning I received a notification that they were already replaced! Highly recommend this complex.

Best in New Brunswick area. Easy walk to the train and great restaurants blocks away. My husband and I have both enjoyed living here for a year now. Everything is kept clean. We needed maintenance for a few things here and there and they always responded quickly.

The staff are friendly. It is like a little community here. The gym is kept clean and is convenient. It is also conveniently located within walking distance of the train station, which was a plus for us before we got a car.

The only thing is that the highway is a little bit noisy for us since we face the highway but it is quieter than our previous apartment so it is not as bothersome for us as our guests. Compared to the other luxury apartment buildings in New Brunswick, plaza square gives you the most bang for your buck. There is a nominal yearly amenity fee but in my eyes it's totally worth it: one of the best apartment gyms I've seen complete with a large yoga studio, a very nice club room that was recently renovated includes a kitchen, bar seating, flat screens, pool table, shuffle board, pac man and a media room off to the side , a really nice outdoor pool with new built in grills, and a conference room and computer room with a printer.

Read more. I have been a resident here for three months and I love it. The apartments are well designed and beautiful.

The apartments have a great size.

The concierge is always very nice and helpful.

The granite countertops in the kitchen are both beautiful and easy to maintain.

You will also appreciate the walk-in closet space and the views from the patio or balcony of your next home. As a resident of Plaza Square Apartments, you will have access to a host of resort-style amenities as well.

Wake up early and practice mindfulness in the yoga stretching room. Work up a good sweat in the sauna or the health and fitness studio. Swim laps across the shimmering pool. Part of the George Street neighborhood, a variety of restaurants, retailers and entertainment options await your discovery in this historic part of town.

This is a great location and complex for professionals and those seeking a "sunburn" lifestyle without actually living in the burbs. Read more. I have been a resident here for three months and I love it. The apartments are well designed and beautiful.

The property inside and out is well maintained. Currently the pool is being renovated, but my understanding is that it will be done in the next few weeks. It's pretty remarkable given the location that I can sit out on my balcony and have a nice green space below and feel very relaxed.

Using route 18 to routes 1, , turnpike or garden state parkway is quick and simple to access. The property manager I deal with is Linda Barry, she has been spectacular! Awesome place to live.

Any issues or concerns we have had, have been addressed timely and satisfactory. Unprofessional and rude staff working at the leasing office. Not a great experience, would recommend researching the other apartment buildings around here that are newer and similar in price if you're looking to live in this area of New Brunswick.

The Plaza Square is an absolutely awesome place to live! We have only been living here for about 5 months now but we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. The surrounding area is gorgeous and I always feel safe-- especially because our parking lot is monitored by a security guard.

The concierge is always very nice and helpful.

Please schedule yours today. The apartments at Plaza Square incorporate the elegant features you expect in a contemporary urban home.

Each apartment is outfitted with wood-like vinyl plank flooring that complements every style. Oversized windows let in light and give the open layouts an even grander sense of space.

I have had several complaints from guests that they were treated pretty rudely from courtesy officers regarding parking. Not sure about this as I was not present but the complaint did come from different people so it is a concern.

Overall, I enjoy it especially considering the location. Loading interface Hours updated 1 month ago. Verified by Business. Virtual Consultations. Virtual Tours. New Brunswick, NJ Edit business info.

Business website. Phone number.
