Northeast of the old town is La Merced, our choice for the best neighbourhood to stay in Malaga for nightlife. La Merced is the entertainment centre for the city. The covered market of this neighbourhood, Mercado de la Merced , is a great place to sample a whole range of dishes ranging from local delicacies to crowd favourites.
