Located in Madrid's cosmopolitan Gran Via district, H10 Villa de la Reina Boutique Hotel is a renovated building featuring unique architectural design from the early 20th century. The hotel is exceptionally situated overlooking the Plaza Cibeles and is only 50 meters away from the nearest metro station. The hotel restaurant serves appetizing Mediterranean and international dishes, and the bar is a great place to relax after a long day of exploring Madrid. The traditional Spanish breakfast of churros and chocolate is particularly good at Calle San Gines nearby.
Centrally located alongside gastronomic offers make H10 Villa de la Reina Boutique Hotel a perfect choice when traveling to Madrid. H10 Villa de la Reina Boutique Hotel has a very friendly staff they welcomed us with a bottle of sparkling wine. The staff was really helpful in pointing out the various sights and places to dine.
THe rooms are a bit small yet extremely clean and neat. Room was not particularly big and a little dark. Wifi was working although signal was weak in my room. The main downside is that my room had windows facing an inner patio which didn't allow a lot of sunlight to come into the room, and I could not leave the windows open else someone else may come in.
The price and location were good however. Really nice hotel in a perfect location. We were only in Madrid from 5 pm to 11 am for a layover and during that time, we easily walked around the entire downtown from the gate and art museums to the cathedral.
This hotel was perfectly centered to make that all happen. Really nice welcome champagne and friendly staff. The rooms are small which I read in every review, so as long as you are fine with that, it is a perfect place to stay in Madrid.
The location is within a ten minute walk or metro ride of most everything you'd want to see in Madrid. The hotel itself was warm and inviting, a charming old building but totally new and modern inside. As a medium sized hotel, it offered a sense of respite and intimacy in a large central city once you walked through the door into the inviting lobby.
I couldn't have been more pleased or satisfied and would recommend this hotel highly. We, my husband and me stayed 3 fantastic days and nights in Madrid and stayed at this nice hotel.
We like to look around, and we like to walk and feel the atmosfeare. This hotel was Located in the middle of everything, and we didn't need Metro at all. Three days in Madrid is to short, but we will come back.
This weekend there was a huge festival, rainbowfestival. About two millons people where in the streets and it was like a fairytail for us. No fighting, only party, and nice people. And we did not hear the noice from people, even though we had a room to the main street. We like the breakfast and the bed was very good. The staff talk english and answered our questions. The internet was slow. We will come back next time we are going to Madrid. My Wife and I are in our 30s, and stayed for 3 nights in May Our only concern was arriving mid afternoon on the scheduled day of arrvial and they had no knowledge of our booking.
This did not present them with an issue and they were able to arrange a room after validating our booking and deposit and seeing our paperwork. Nto a reason to harshly judge the hotel in my view - mistakes happen. We were on the 5th floor, had a small but functional balcony looking down over the main road through Madrid, and had a great time. We have no complaints. Anytime time we asked for assistance such as extra towels or directions within the city, we were keenly assisted by the staff.
We had breakfast within the hotel daily, which was organised an organised and civilised experience, clean, well stocked with continental and cooked breakfast choices, and throughly enjoyed this too.
Thers's honestly nothing to critisize. We will certainly stay again when we return in a year or two. This hotel was renovated only a few months ago and they have done an excellent job. The hotel is trendy but with a classic old world charm. We had the basic room and it was lovely not large but everything was well appointed. The bed was soft, the shower pounding hot and the room even had its own little espresso machine. The hotel is right down town and very close to the subway station, I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Madrid.
This hotel is new and is located in the center of Madrid. The standard double rooms are very small, but they are clean and comfortable. There are many theaters and museums around. The hotel is a very nice boutique hotel, however it is quite expensive for what you get. There are limited facilities. This seems to be the same or worse with all the double rooms from looking at the floor plan.
The location is in the center of Madrid, but a little not easy by metro, taxi is not expensive from airport, its better to take by taxi, just 30 euro, if you with friends. The hotel is just take 2 min walks to Grand via metro station. It also only takes 5 min alks to Sol.
Breakfast is great and worthy. Highly recomended if you travel to madrid. It's almost perfect about everything for staying- great location around city center, beautifully designed interior and clean room, fancy breakfast, etc. One little complaint would be a small room size and beds that were sinked middle.
My room was at the corner on the 2nd floor, looking out to the dim patio. The room was not big, but since it was revamped from the old La Reina Hotel, the bathroom was spacious. There was a mysteries door in my room, which could be for hiding the drains. Throughout the night I heard water dripping, flushing and noise from the drains, which made me not sleeping well.
Excellent location for Madrid marathon, shopping and museum. It's very convenient to go anywhere either walking or taking metro. My husband and I were very happy with this hotel. Public transport very accessible and very near shopping areas. It's quiet during the evening, and rooms very clean and comfortable. Great value for money. Internet was a bit slow than I'm usually accustomed to so that could be a room for improvement for them but overall I'd be happy to stay there again.
A real high quality hotel. Just love the spacious room with high ceilings and modern decor. A good location where you can walk to major attractions within walking distance. This is also a best location for shoppers. Sure that I will revisit this hotel. Good location to tour Madrid downtown. There are public parking near the hotel. Spain Hotels. Madrid Hotels.
