Lunch was a buffet that prepared us all for an exhausting afternoon lying by the pool watching Kim, the nanny, chase the children around the gardens. I did feel a bit guilty for about five minutes, but on the upside I actually managed to read two books.

The children loved it. They loved the space, and the fresh air wow, how they slept , and they even seemed to love wearing sun hats and SPF cream, or perhaps Kim just had the magic touch. They made holiday books and ate like princesses. There was a tricky moment, when our staff ha-ha took their day off. We worried that they might return the next day to find us in the same place they left us, a pile of skeletal husks because we had forgotten how to look after ourselves.

But we kept ourselves busy.

Imagine all holidays being like this? I need a pay rise. OMG this looks amazing. I can see how this could easily spoil any future holidays not with Scott Dunn. It looks amazing — especially the chef and maids.

Who even knew holidays like this existed.. Helen recently posted… Pimms and Elderflower Iced Lollies. Such luxury! They have thought of everything! It look like a holiday where you can truly relax. Just give me a moment to pick my jaw up from the floor….. It looks amazing, my husband keeps talking about going on one of their holidays, I think they are the only way you actually get a rest if you have little ones.

Oh MAN, what a hardship! But seriously, how can you go back to normal holidays or life after this? So this is how the celebrities holiday huh?! It looks amazing. Loving that you get a nanny thrown in too for equal measure! The bedrooms — ours had a huge four-poster bed — came with cots and baby-friendly toiletries Cowshed for the adults , not to mention an endless supply of nappies, swim pants and Sudocrem — all items that take up large amounts of valuable packing space.

The playroom — yes, there was a playroom! We honestly thought we had died and gone to heaven. At what point did I pinch myself? Each morning, a continental breakfast had been laid out; Sam would come to the sun loungers and present us with mini-choc ices for elevenses.

We went to the beach, which was nice, until we saw the signs warning of jellyfish and the children started eating cigarette ends from the sand.
