Would definitely be up my street is we only went on one holiday a year. It looks absolutely amazing! I would love to have a break like that where you can fully unwind and I must say that Mallorca is such a beautiful island to match.

The bedrooms — ours had a huge four-poster bed — came with cots and baby-friendly toiletries Cowshed for the adults , not to mention an endless supply of nappies, swim pants and Sudocrem — all items that take up large amounts of valuable packing space. The playroom — yes, there was a playroom! We honestly thought we had died and gone to heaven. At what point did I pinch myself?
Each morning, a continental breakfast had been laid out; Sam would come to the sun loungers and present us with mini-choc ices for elevenses. Lunch was a buffet that prepared us all for an exhausting afternoon lying by the pool watching Kim, the nanny, chase the children around the gardens. I did feel a bit guilty for about five minutes, but on the upside I actually managed to read two books.
The children loved it. They loved the space, and the fresh air wow, how they slept , and they even seemed to love wearing sun hats and SPF cream, or perhaps Kim just had the magic touch. They made holiday books and ate like princesses. There was a tricky moment, when our staff ha-ha took their day off. We worried that they might return the next day to find us in the same place they left us, a pile of skeletal husks because we had forgotten how to look after ourselves.
But we kept ourselves busy.
